Physical fitness programs help to keep students in top shape. The program includes tests of coordi- nation, agility, and endurance. The tests are given in the fall and again in the spring to note the im- provement of the students. The boys' physical education curriculum included basketball, badminton, wrestling, archery, and tumbling. The girls' activities included field hockey, basketball, soccer, badminton, and volleyball. French students become proficient in the language through the use of modern language laboratories. Latin is Greek to me, Lois Ballweg remarks to Claudine Huerth as they try desperately to figure out a Latin spelling.
