MR. GERALD EYLER Superintendent Wis. State Univ. Stevens Point B.S. University of Wis. M.S. ACTIVE Mr. Gerald Eyler is our new superintendent of schools. He was formerly the school administrator at Allouez, a suburb of Green Bay, before assuming his duties here. Mr. Eyler has also held administrative positions at Oconto, Port Edwards, and Green Lake. Prior to his administrative assignments he had taught English and music at Fond du Lac, Port Edwards, and Cadott. Mr. Eyler's home town was Sparta, where he graduated from high school. He attended Stevens Point State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in English, history and music. His graduate schooling was obtained at the University of Wisconsin, where he received his Master of Science degree majoring in school administration. Jvlr. Eyler is married and has three children, the youngest son being the only one still at home. His first impressions of the Sauk Prairie communities and schools have been most favorable. The excellent new facilities which have been provided for the students seem to indicate a genuine interest on the part of the citizens to provide the best education possible for their children. 14

Mr. William Leahy is the assistant superintendent and business manager of the Sauk Prairie schools. He is in charge of the school during Mr. Eyler's ab- sence, and is responsible for the school lunches, maintenance, purchasing of all supplies, and as- sisting in the preparation of the budget. Graduated from the Wisconsin State University at Oshkosh, Mr. Leahy has majors in chemistry and physics and a minor in mathematics. He received his Ph. B. and Master's degrees at the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Leahy has had 37 years of teaching experi- ence. He has been in Sauk Prairie for 34 years. ■MHO 11111 1' ADMINISTRATION Mr. Douglas Fredericks is the principal of the Sauk Prairie High School. It is his responsibility to organize high school activi- ties and to work on the curriculum with the teaching staff. Mr. Fredericks attended Upsala College in New Jersey, where he received his Bach- elor of Arts degree. He holds a Master's de- gree in Administration and Supervision of Secondary Education from Rutgers Univer- sity, and has done post-Master's work at Rutgers.
