CALENDAR SEPTEMBER 7- School started, all busy again. 10- First pep meeting—Juniors elected Ron Hering prom king—First football game-Beat Mazo 15-7 at home. 14- Crowell-Collier magazine campaign. 16- Cheerleading tryouts. 17- Senior class pictures taken. Tra- veled to Arena and crushed them 33-0. 24- Annual staff organized—Verona topped us 7-0 on our field. Junior dance. 26- Assembly program by C. E. Jones. 29- Juniors won trip for high salesman- ship in magazine campaign. 30- Jim Fasking chosen homecoming king. OCTOBER 5- Sun Prairie- A sad game lo3t 28-0. 6- News staff organized. Sophomores initiated freshmen at annual party. 8- Played at Poynette-13-13 tie. 15- Homecoming parade, defeated Lodi 14-6— dance. 15- Students visited TV Institute. 18- Juniors ordered class rings. Seniors calling cards and announcements. 19- Play tryouts. 20- Our first PTA dancing lesson. 21- What's school without report cards? 22- Defeated Waunakee there 18-0. 28- Conquered Spring Green 25-0 here. 29- Pep Club TVfirp dance. NOVEMBER 2- 6h! Oh 1 Prairie beat us 13-0. 3- 4-5- Teachers convention. 8- One-act plays presented. 10- Society Page received B in district competition at Poynette. 12- Sears Pig Project members return gilts to Baraboo. 15- Drink more milk. Milk dispensers installed at both schools. 19- First basketball game in the new gym. Beat DeForest 63-50. Sophomores sponsored a dance. 23- Went to Sun Prairie. Beat them 62-49. 25- Thanksgiving vacation. 30- Whipped Poynette 74-30. DECEMBER 3- Report card time again. Easy win over Lodi 73-52 Here. Seniors gave a dance. 7- Trampled Arena 74-39 in Arena gym. 10- It happened again! Prairie beat us 54-49 on their floor. 13- Annual Christmas Concert. 14- Senior pictures arrived. 16- Ran over Verona 67-37 in our gym. 17- Last day of school this year. JANUARY 3- Back to school again. 7- Game at Waunakee. Beat them 6l-4l. 11- Hurrah! Knocked Black Earth out of first place, beat them 67-53 at home. 12- Juniors, I'll Remember April. 13- Forensic conference at Whitewater. 14- Waunakee team here. Beat them 52-39. 17- March of dime campaign started. 18- Everyone studied for semester tests. 19- General assembly program on music. 20- 21- First semester exams. 21- Heck! Spring Green beat us 52-51 on our own court. Juniors sponsored a successful dance. 22- State Drum Clinic at Sauk. 24- Juniors received class rings. Girls basketball team formed. 25- Annual pictures taken. 27- Sauk and Prairie girls and facul- ties played tonight. Prairie girls won both. 28- Beat Mazo in their new gym. 29- U. W. Band Concert in Sauk gym. FEBRUARY I- Juniors magazine campaign trip to Madison. Beat DeForest 77-55 there. 4- Travelled to Poynette and beat 69-58 5- Orchestra dance sponsored by Student Council. 8- Assembly program on recreational therapy. 9- New constitution for the school form- ed by student council. Prom King Ron Hering elects queen Mary Jo Bongard. II- Met Prairie in our own gym. Conquered them 63-40. 17- Lodi-Sauk. Sauk 68- Lodi 58. 18- Teachers SWEA met in Madison. 21- Senior girls attended meeting at UW 24- 25-26- Basketball tournament. MARCH 4- Assembly program by Henry Briggs. 9- Local Forensic contest. 15- League forensic contests at Wauna- kee. Assembly program with puppets. 25- Wisconsin Dells-solos and ensembles. APRIL 1- Easter vacation April 1-10. 2- District forensic contest at Ft. Atkinson. 15- Junior Prom. 16- Mass band and chorus rehearsal at Wis. Dells. 18- Athletic Banquet. Assembly program on snakes. 30- Music festival at Wis. Dells.
