Highlighting the sea- son was the win over the undefeated Beverly team. The Sachems, led by captains Greg Peach and Dave Adams displayed a tough de- fense and well rounded offense which guided them to a State Tournament. Successive last victories over Winthrop, Marblehead, and English added to the year ' s excitement. Along with an im- pressive win over Lowell in the States, before losing to a powerful Andover team.
