JACOBS AOMIMBTRA-JVB f Ci»)UTA:-T To the Members of the Class of 1966: In a sense, your Senior year as students at Saugus High School is my Freshman year as Superintendent of Schools in this Town of Saugus . It is quite possible, therefore, that I should be accepting advice from you (for who does not recognise the superior wisdom of a Senior) rather than my expressing solemnly sage remarks as to how you might best cope with the problems of the future. I, personally, have sincere confidence in the ability of today ' s youth to adjust to the complexities of modern society and, so, I shall limit my remarks, here, to a simple expression of good fortune to all. W It is my earnest hope that the administrators an at Saugus High School have succeeded in challenging each of you, as individuals, to the degree that you are beginning to examine your own particular potential talents and will utilize to the fullest your own personal abilities whether you are to enter some kind of higher education or to immediately fcLc::- the problems of life. As Superintendent of Schools in Saugus, it s little bit more special to be wishing success to the members of the first class to graduate during my tenure of office and I do so with pride in your past accomplishments and anticipation of success in your future achievements.
