Anticipation shows on the faces of these students as Pat and Al distribute the 1961 SAWYERS. AWYER AUTOGRAPH DAY Following formal Moving-Up Day ceremonies, the SAWYER staff mounted the auditorium stage to be introduced and presented with their copies of the new yearbook. Patricia Sasso and Patricia Mayone, the 1961 editors, presented Miss Larned with an engraved silver plaque in appreciation for twenty-five years of service at Saugerties High School. The editors expressed their thanks to the other faculty mem- bers Who assisted in the SAWYER'S preparation. Distribution of the students' copies followed, and then everyone divided his attention between examining and autographing the new yearbook.
