----Q ,-- W- i-W -- 1 THE THEME UF THE 1960 SAWYER The theme for the 1960 SAWYER is '6Doors.', We feel that this is a most appropri- ate theme for our yearbook because education opens many doors. By opening one door, we find opportunities for advanced learning of languages, science, history, and mathematics- the academic field. Another door leads us to education in the vocational field with sub- jects as typing, bookkeeping, basic art, nursing, and the industrial arts. Still other doors lead us to sports, music, school clubs, and activities. Throughout the SAWYER you will find several pictures, captions, and articles illus- trating the many doors that are in Saugerties High School. All these doors are un- locked--it is our responsibility to open them.
