Homecoming this year was really some- thing to see. Our Bicentennial Theme Spirit of '76 really worked out great. All the class- es from grade 7-12 participated. We had Bi- centennial garbage cans, little soldier fire hydrants, and a variety of floats from a real horse to a rocket. But that wasn't all, it was the Spirit of the students mixed with the or- ganization of the teachers that really got it all together. We may have lost the game but the foot- ball team put up a good fight right to the very end. Half time was filled with the music of our band and the crowning of our Homecom- ing Queen; Sara French, and King: Jim Hutch- ins, and their court: llth-Mike Snowden, Karen Klaynik. 10th-Joe White, Vicki Blok. 9th-Robert Rank. Maryann Maczinski. 8th-Bill Winter, Linda Powers. 7th-Chris Baker, Eva Corral. The dance was held the next day with very successful results thanks to our old friends “Kofi Jahm. All in all everything came to- gether to make this year a well remembered Homecoming! “Spirit is having the courage to be- lieve in yourself and what you can do. Sherry Rasmussen
