They will be remembered for their great enthusiasm, good sports- manship and their skills in playing the game. S.H.S. Varsity Has Winning Season r i Varsity: (TOP) Mike Baker, Frank Biller, Bill Wilson, Dave Bekken, Ralph Troutman. Bill McIntyre. Rich Klaynik, Joe Bolles, George Gendron, Dennis Tisdale, Keith Aalderink. Coach: Wayne Fries. L This year's Varsity Basketball team had it's up and downs; the joy of beating Covert and the disappoint- ment of losing to St. Joe Seminary. Seeing outstanding playing ability made us realize how proud we are of our team. We owe a great deal of our success to two outstanding players Mike Baker and Dave Bekken. But this success could never have been made possible without the great amount of time and effort put forth by our Varsity Coach, Wayne Fries .... and with his help. Saugatuck put three men on the All-League team. They were Mike Baker, Ralph Troutman and Dave Bekken. Thanks Guys!
