... a place to play ho one can sit still inside all day long. Fortunately, SAIS-R provides a number of ways for students to burn up some excess energy. During lunch break and recess, children have a variety of playground equipment from which to choose. Physical Education classes provide training in team sports, as well as individual sports and rhythmic activities. After school activities, including Intra-Kingdom sports and exercise classes, round out students' chances to play.

... a place to grow Although students are likely to grow in stature while attending SAIS-R, they are even more likely to grow in other ways. At SAIS-R, the facilities, enrollment, and curriculum have grown over the past 22 years. Mew courses, such as mechanical drawing for junior high students and computer literacy for primary and intermediate students, reflect the attempt to meet students' changing needs. More than anything, though, as a result of attending an international school, students grow in understanding of other people and cultures — the value of which may be beyond measure.
