But, due to o deloy in its completion ond roiny weother. the tournomenr wos colled off. The teoms were very disoppoinred after their long hord preporotion for the competition. The girls' firsr trip wos to Dhohron. The. purpose wos moinly to provide o gome sltuotion practice for the Kingdom-wide tournament. After o couple more weeks of practice, the reom .travelled to Jeddoh for rhor purpose. With the leadership of coproin Shonnon Corey ond cooch Lenoghon. the ream defeated 6 out of 7 opponents. Down Wofflnden ond Amy Thompson were voted oll-srors. After 2 tiring days the girls brought home o second ploce. losing only ro the Jeddoh Folcons. A moke-up rournoment wos held in Riyodh. Jeddoh ond Dhohron teoms porricipored. The Eogles proudly come out on top. The Eogles girls' volleyboll teom hod o successful 29-4 record for the season. It definitely got school spirit; flying. 69

ftf After o successful home tour-noment. The Eogles begon preporing for Jeddoh. Much to everyone's surprise. Jeddoh osked Riyodh to bring 20 ployers. There were only 12 on the team. The offer was occepted by Mr. Brounhordf. Bock he went to his rryout forms to choose 8 more ployers. The Jeddoh rournoment proved o trying one for Riyadh with only one win and four losses. Not to be discouraged the Eogles worked even harder to be tops in the upcoming oil-kingdom rournoment os the Riyadh reams in the post hod been. It wos held in Dhohron. The Eogles got right to work by defeating Jeddoh 18-0. then Rostonuro who hod beoren RICS in the previous yeor for the chompionship. 5AIS-R met Jeddoh for the finol time thor season after losing to Dhohron. The Eogles bear Jeddah in on outstanding performance. Although the Eogles lost to Dhohron in the championship oil teams agreed thot they hod the will power to never stop trying.
