Under the direction of Mrs. Greoves, the SAIS-R Student Council hos been very octive in moking our school o progressive one. Lost yeor the Student Council purchosed video equipment with their funds which were roised through vorious activities. A highlight for the organization is hosting the onnuol Inrerkingdom Conference of Student Councils. Students from Dhohron, Jeddoh, Abqoiq ond other schools meet here to discuss student government ond how their schools ond councils con function better. This yeor oil participants were treated to dinner or the Royal Chinese Restaurant which was newly opened. The Student Council was very octive during the holiday season os described in the EVENTS section of this book. The members keep students posted on current events through the office patio display board ond certain bulletin boards throughout the school. The Student Council is mode up of homeroom representatives who take closs opinions ond suggestions to council meetings ond report council decisions. GETTING AQUAINTED Is the first order of business os participants moke o gome of finding out nomes ond backgrounds of their counterports from other schools.
