The audience loved it ond the ployers kept right on dancing os if it hod olwoys been in the script. Curly wos a lighthearted spoof on the Shirley Temple movies of the thirties. Sung by, performed for ond oil obour reenogers, rhe rock musical Teen wos onorher big hit lost spring. Directed by Mrs. Elkins, the Concert Choir rehearsed for six weeks for rhe Moy performance. The musical revolved oround characters experiencing some of rhe emotional ups ond downs of odolescents such os love ond insecurity. Many solos were performed including Suson Misrler’s rendition of It's All Right to Cry . The principol characters were double cost. Music for the show wos prerecorded so performers hod to be right on cue with dialogue, singing ond choreography.
