Indians Have New Coaches This year's varsity basketball team included, FROM L. TO R. : Coach Troutt, R. Waggoner, T. Anthony, J. Birkes, T. Sturgeon, V. Anthony, D. Haegert, D. Alexander, A. Sprunger, S. Palmgren, M. McDonald, and Coach Obermeyer. The basketball team faced a tough sea- son this year, but they worked hard to make it worthwhile. Some adjustments had to be made. All of the starters were new this year, and the team had new coaches, Mr. Troutt and Mr. Ober- meyer. The team worked together; each player had to do his own part. There were several high-point men who were Jim Birkes, Von Anthony, Danny Alex- ander, and Todd Nance. The Indians averaged forty-nine points a game, and the underclassmen hope to improve this record next year. B - team basketball players were, FROM L. TO R., 1ST ROW, B. Kendall, M. McDonald, R.
