Martin Schumann, Forgein Exchange Student Fassberg, Germany From: Martin Schumann To; The Students of Satanta High: The year 1974-75 has been unforgetable for me. By this time the school has become very familiar to me and it is hard for me to imagine that I ever went to another one. However, without the memories, the many good friends, the great teachers, and not to for- get the fine Kayettes with Mrs. Niles, I wouldn't have made it without getting homesick. So, to everybody thanks. Also, I believe that hardly anywhere else in the U.S.A. would I have been able to learn as much about the modern cowboy or farmer and their way of life. My English improved a bunch since I came over here. The slang I picked up here I wouldn't be able to learn in any German English-Book. I hope you enjoyed me staying here. If you did, don't forget to come by when you are eventually in Germany. Within the next three years. See you maybe even here in Satanta or somewhere else.
