1972 CHIEFTAIN PUBLISHED BY SATANTA HIGH SCHOOL SATANTA, KANSAS A Word From Our Superintendent Linus has a soft, warm security blanket; the turtle has a strong, hard shell for his security; the fox lives for quite a while by his quick, sly wit. But—someday Linus must turn loose of his blanket and rely on himself for his needs; the turtle must stick out his neck and make a move toward his goal; the fox will grow old and slow. Then what? We hope you have grasped something in your years in Satanta Schools to hold onto when you move toward your goals. Mr. Brown Table Of Contents Administration Academics . . Seniors . . . .
