TOP LEFT: MRS. DANA HADDICAN: Mrs. Haddican attended col- lege at Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts in Chickasha, Oklahoma, where she received a B. A. in English. She did graduate work at the University of Oklahoma, and Fort Hays State College. She now teaches English II, IV and sponsors the Pep Club. This is Mrs. Had- dican’s eighteenth year at Satanta High. She and her husband, William, have two children, Mary Pat, a freshman at Atchison, and Ramey, a Junior. Mrs. Haddican enjoys reading, knitting, sewing, and watching basketball and baseball games. TOP RIGHT: MR. EDWARD GUSTAFSON: Mr. Gustafson graduated from Fort Hays State College and has done graduate work at Fort Hays, K-State, andK.U. He has previously taught in Phillipsburg, and Lyons, Kansas. At S.H.S. , he teaches English I and III, and Advanced Writing. His other duties include; Head Football, Ass- istant Basketball, and Head Track coach. He and his wife Denise have six children, Evan, Audrey, Amanda, Amy, April, and Ann. Mr. Gustafson enjoys archery, Hunting, and fishing. CENTER: MR. DALE KELLINC: Mr. Kelling received his B.S. in Secondary Education and Physical Education at Phillips University. He has had 8 years teaching experience at Reamsville, Downs, Hunter, Russell Springs, and Rexford, Kansas prior to teaching here. In his first year here, he teaches Current Affairs, Govern- ment, Psychology, and Sociology. His other activities include Jr. Class sponsor, Assistant Football Coach, and Freshman Basketball Coach. Mr. Kelling and his wife, Velma, have 6 children; Rod- ney, 8; Dianna, 7; Tobin, 6; Michelle, 5; John (Greg), 2; and Michael, 4 months. BOTTOM RIGHT: MR. HERSHEL LAWSON: Mr. Lawson has done graduate work at various colleges after receiving his A. B. from Panhandle AGM at Goodwell, Oklahoma. This is his fifth year at Satanta where he teaches Speech and Debate. He is also the Freshman sponsor and the director of the All-school Play. He and his wife Janet have one son, John. Mr. Lawson enjoys bowling, hunting, and viewing athletic events. 9

TOP: MR. RICHARD BAKER: Mr. Baker teaches Chemistry, Phy- sics, General Math and Physical Science. He received his degree from Southwestern State College at Weatherford, Oklahoma. His graduate work was also done at Southwestern State. Before coming to Satanta, 3 years ago, Mr. Baker taught in Clayton, New Mex- ico. This year, Mr. Baker is one of the Freshman class sponsors. He and his wife Joan have two children; Judy and Gary. Mr. Baker enjoys reading, experimenting, and camping. CENTER: MR. DON BARR: Mr. Barr, now in his second year here at Satanta, came from Cimarron. His is now teaching Auto Mech- anics and is one of the Sophomore Class sponsors. He and his wife Laurita have four children; Donnie Jr. , Candice, Melody, and Tammi. BOTTOM LEFT: MR. REMEL BLUNDELL: This year, Mr. Blundell teaches both Grade and High School Phys. -ed. In addition to this he also teaches Health. He and his wife Electa have five children; Kay, Betty, Max, JoAnne, and Barbara. BOTTOM RIGHT: MR. IRA BROMLOW: This is Mr. Bromlow's fifth year teaching at Satanta. He teaches Geometry, Algebra I and II, and Advanced Math Analysis. Mr. Bromlow received his B. S. in Math from Panhandle A. M. at Goodwell, Oklahoma. He also is the sponsor of our Student Council. Being a bachelor, Mr. Brom- low enjoys bowling, hunting, and fishing.

TOP LEFT: MR. SAM LEDESMA: Mr. Ledesma, a bachelor, re- ceived his BA in Spanish from Northwestern State in Alva. Before coming to Satanta to teach, Mr. Ledesma taught in Syracuse, Cimarron, Rolla and Liberal. Here at SHS he teaches Spanish in grades 4,5. and 6, and first year Spanish in High School. He is also one of the Senior Class sponsors. Mr. Ledesma enjoys read- ing and fishing. CENTER: MRS. ELIZABETH McCOOL: Mrs. McCool is our school Librarian this year. She graduated from Bethel College at North Newton, Kansas where she received her B. A. degree. Her grad- uate work was done at Kansas State University, Wichita State University, Emporia State University, and at the University of Colorado. Mrs. McCool and her husband, Frank, moved to Satanta from Pratt, Kansas. She enjoys collecting rocks and cookbooks, and she also enjoys traveling. BOTTOM LEFT: MR. P. G. McGUIRE: Mr. McGuire received his AB degree in Social Science from Northwestern State College at Alva, Oklahoma, He has done graduate work at Fort Hays State. This year Mr. McGuire is kept busy teaching Driver's Ed. , Amercian History, being our basketball coach, and one of the Junior Class sponsors. He and his wife, Oringa, who works in the school lunchroom, have three children, Nick, Pat, and Brenda. Mr. McGuire enjoys eating, drinking coffee, and ath- letics in any form. BOTTOM RIGHT: MR. DALE MOODY: Mr. Moody has his MA degree in psychology and guidance from Colorado State Uni- versity and his BS in natural science from Northwestern State in Alva. He has also done graduate work in Fort Hays. This year Mr. Moody teaches Biology and is the Councelor and Principal of SHS. This is Mr. Moody's fifth year at Satanta. He and his wife, Judy, have two sons Chad and Todd. Mr. Moody enjoys hunting and fishing.
