These girls were active in the various school or- ganizations and were well-liked by all. Kathy Vana ADMINISTRATION The school administration for the year of 1964 were Mr. Bill Helton, Treasurer; Mr. Charles Anton, Director; Mr. Elwin Anthony, Clerk; and Mr. Robert Scherich, Prin- cipal. FACULTY FRANK LONG has completed his second year at Satanta. He received his B. S. degree in Education at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma and has an M. S. in Secondary School Administration and Spanish from Kansas State College in Pittsburg, Kansas. DANA HADDICAN, the English 1 and 2 teacher, has been here for 12 years. She has a B. A. in English from Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha, Okla. MAX HUNTER has completed his 7th year of teaching Math at Satanta. He received a B. S. in Social Studies and Math from Northwestern State College in Alva, Oklahoma. 8 Basketball and Track Coach ROBERT FAUROT has completed his eighth year at Satanta. He has a B.S. in Physical Education and a M. S. in Guidance and Counseling from Fort Hays State College at Hays, Kansas. Mr. Faurot also teaches Biology and is the Guidance Counselor. EDITH STOKES has a B. S. in Education from Southeastern State College in Durant, Oklahoma. She teaches Business Education at Satanta. Mrs. Stokes has been here for 13 years. ■ ROBERT FOSTER has a B. S. in education from Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia Kansas. He received his BME, at Emporia State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas. He teaches all instrumental and vocal music at S. H. S. LEFT CENTER JACK VO RE received his BA in Math from Northwestern State College in Alva, Oklahoma. He reaches Chemistry, Science, and Physics. This was his second year at Satanta. CENTER: WILLIAM HOWARD has an A.B. in Social Science from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. He has completed his eighth year at Satanta. LEFT: LETHA WOLFE teaches English IV and is also Librarian. She received a B. S. at Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma. This was Mrs. Wolfe's first year at Satanta. 10 TOP RIGHT: DIXIE STANSBERRY, teacher of Home Economics at SHS, has completed her seventh year here. She has a B. S. in Home Economics from Oklahoma State University at Stillwater. RIGHT CENTER: WALTER GREEN, Industrial Arts teacher at S. H. S. has been here for eleven years. Mr. Green has a B.S. in Industrial Arts from East Central State College in Ada, Oklahoma, and a Master's Degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. 11 GARY VINCENT has completed his first year at Satanta. He has a B. S. in English and Speech from Northwestern State College in Alva, Oklahoma. He teaches English III and Speech. INEZ SHEPARD and FAY STUTTS are given credit for the fine meals fixed each school day. Both Inez and Faye have been cooking at Satanta High for six years. PERSONNEL GENEVA HUNTER is our office secretary. She is always on hand to help with typing, keeping re- cords, and answering the telephone. She has been at Satanta High for eight years. NILE and GRACE UNGER, our custodians, can be found most any day keeping our school building clean. Much time and effort is spent each day keeping our school pleasant. Nile has worked here for nine years and Grace has been help- ing him for the past four years. She has been active in band and she was also president of the Junior class. Her plans for the future are to attend Kansas State University. Patty has been very active in Music. She received I Von her drum solo at State Music Contest her junior and senior year. She has worked exceptionally hard in Kayettes and with all her other activities has managed to maintain a high scholastic average. She plans to attend Wichita State University. Among her many activities, Martha has been president of Kayettes, and Secretary-Treasurer of the senior class. She was able to go to State Speech Contest in Dodge City in Oral Interpretation. She also served on the Student Council for two years. Her plans for the future include a college education. Betty has been very active during her high school years. She has been Student Council representative of the Kayettes and served as vice-president of the Senior Class.
