CHIEFTAIN OF 59 Satanta Rural High School Satanta, Kansas WE PROUDLY DEDICATE TO OUR PARENTS Without the sacrifices, and the untiring love and encouragment given us by our parents we would have given up many times when the going got rough. We are indeed grateful to them and know that our happiness in graduating from high school, is really the only reward they want or expect. Mom's and Dad's presence at our school plays and games, gave us pride and added so much to our spirit. It made us reach out and try a little harder to do better than we felt possible. FACULTY OJd Otd POOSo Greetings: Sponsored by SCHONLAW OIL CO. We have completed a year in our fine new building one of the best in this area. I believe we are all proud of our building, and that we have done a good job in caring for it this year. Have we been as careful with the use of our time? You people have had the privilege this winter that no one else will ever have, that of being the first classes to use the new school building. With the fine facilities the community has provided for your use it should 'challenge you to greater ambitions. It has been a joy and pleasure for me to work with our fine faculty and students in this wonderful build- ing this term. I thank each of you for helping made this year so pleasant. Best wishes for success and happiness in service to your fellow man in the years ahead. Sincerely, M. S. Moving rapidly through the lunch line, Satanta students pick up plates heaped high with Mrs. Inez Shepard’s delicious vegetables and meats. Mrs. Shepard has been with us only one year. During the rush period she is assisted by Roberta Moody. These are our teachers of which we are proud to claim as the Satanta High School Faculty.
