Text from Pages 1 - 78 of the 1956 volume:

As a means of thanking Mr. L. (Jim) Miller for five years of hard work and unselfish devotion we wish to dedicate the Chieftain of 1956 to him. We are extremely grateful for his encourage- ment and enthusiasm at the times when our zeal was gone. He has helped to make our work enjoy- able, and we trust that this volume will be a re- minder of all his years at S. H. S. Editor .... Assistant Editor .
