SASKATCHEWAN TEACHERS’ FEDERATION The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation at Teachers’ College has had a quiet year. Even though member¬ ships are down from last year, I believe that we will have full membership by the end of the school term. Some of the year ' s highlights were: - passing of a STF Budget by the SRC. - visit of Mr. Lalonde, President of STF and his speech on the History of the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation”. - visit of Mr. Wiggins of STF and his speech on Contracts . Coming events include a trip to Saskatoon by STF directorate and STF Days, which are still in the plan¬ ning stages. DARK OF THE MOON The stage of the Teachers ' College auditolium was taken over kfarch 12, 13, and 14 by the lore and legends, chants and square dances, hymns and prayers of the mountain people of the Great Smokies of North Carolina when DARK OF THE MOON, a cojorful folk play, was presented. The play was written as a.thesis fei a Master ' s degree at tie University of Iowa by Howard Richardson and William Berney arid was awarded the Maxwell Anderson4 rize for poetic drama in 1945.
