Starting at once, Gaylord found B111 Kelly in a tught club in Chicago dining with five beautiful movie stars B111 said that he would indeed come as he loved parues Gaylord then chmbed into his chartered plane and flew to Dallas Texas where he ran across Gary Gibson whom he hardly recognzed because Gary had painted himself black and had been trying to get in with the Harlem Globe Trotters He had always wanted to be another Goose Tatum, He found Joe Green studying Psychiatry at the Columbia University and still threatening to quit When he left from there he Joumeyed to Hawaii where he found Joan Ailshxe sewing like mad to get her grass skirt done in time for the fall festival. While talkmgto Joan Gaylord happened to glance around and saw Loren Walker sitting under a palm tree taking a sxesta without lus shirt wool Wool Gaylord spotted Verlee Russell at the airport and tookher out to dinner much to her husband s disapproval After a hearty dmner and some dancing Gaylord bid farewell to Verlee and caught the tram His next stop was Reno Nevada where he decided that he would try to expand his expense account and while doing so he spotted Dixie Lee Roth in a very low evening gown, but her hair was dyed red instead of black and he was amazed to find that she owned the gambling place he was 1n He went on to Montana where he asked the whereabouts of Lanny Weverka and was informed that he had Joined the Forest Rangers where he could isolate himself on the look out tower Inquirmg further he him good husband material. After flying to Cody Wyoming, he went to a Rent a Car servlce where he found Gary White censored Renting a car from him he set out to explore the oil fields Having a flat tire by an old tar paper shack and needing some help he knocked on the door and was surprised to see a httle tow headed boy that looked exactly hke George Gardner Upon in vestigatxon he fotmd that George and JeanQLongmoreJ hved here with their dozen dnl en George always said they were cheaper by the dozen Finding no more of his old classmates In Wyoming Gaylord decided it was again time to take to the air Driving by the airport Gaylord saw an orange plane with Comstock written on it in yellow letters Sure enough Denny Brass was at the information desk askmg about parking rates Denny informed him that Gaylord Ottun had gone bankrupt raising Nebraska beef and now hved Ln Switzerland where he raised goats Arriving there Mr Bentley set out on skis for Gaylord Ottun s mountain ranch Along the trail he met Carol Gruber and Denms Zurek who were com peting in the winter Olympics Dxshklng the cool mountain weather in the Alps Gaylord returned to California where he was just in time for the prermer of My Last Duchess starring Joyce Brown and co starring Steve Kraus Gaylord found the picture most enjoyable except fora Slight diSturbance Caused by someone crawlmg under the seats in search of their shoe Upon discovering it to be his old class mate Yvonne Young, he returned it along with an invitation to the reumon of the Class of 56 Leaving the picture he met Evelyn Veverka who is now a famous fasluon disigmer and re sponsible for the Duchess s last wardrobe. discovered this was.because he was being searched for by hundreds of women, as they considered Strollmg through Beverly H1lls he heard a fam111ar voxce slngtng Ohlohnny H15 curxoslty aroused he peeked through a w1ndow and dtscovered II to be the home of Karen Tefft and John Ruz1cka who are now happlly marued As the Kentucky Derby had Just begun Gaylord decxded that h1s expense account would allow h1s en1oy1ng the races Much to h1s SUTDPISC he here encountered Eddle Pohlrexch talk1ng to h1s latest lnventxon a female robot Dec1d1ng to place a S2 O0 bet he met J ack Chaffin and Alan Brown who gave h1m a hot t1p on Nasua X Jockey up Gale Howard Be1ng very sentlmental by this time Gaylord declded that his trxp would not be complete wlthout one more look at good old S H S Arr1v1ng 1n Sargent he found the remauung three members of the famous C7 '73 Class of 56 at the new ranch style hlgh school Robert Rudloff who of the coach HBVIHQ personally lnvxted all of has former classmates to the reumon Gaylord went back to h1s offlce and I settled down wlth a rrullxon dollar book to walt for my guests to arrtve ll t be 1 S 'Ill e I' P 5'-.2 xi is now superintendentg Mary Marshall, teaching English: and Joyce Catlett, the grey-haired wife X f X0 112' .7 viszflhzxi .5 4 F HONOR PAGE Helen Pohlreich N-,-5 1 Bill Brass ,, A -ax J Loren Walker Yvonne Young -C5:S:'-- 5 NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MAGAZINE AWARDS Karen Eret Bill Brass Steve Kraus I 'QM'-w,,,,,s'NL 3 .N t.r-s5Z 's-- N - .
