FAUlldEIN IMM Senior Class of 1982 Dedicates Sardonian to Jessie Tate There are many teachers here at Sardis High School who have played an important role in shaping our lives. But there is one in particular whom we will always remember because she is not just our teacher, she is our friend. She is always there if we need her, to help with an assignment sponsor a club, or just listen. But more im- portantly, she believes in us, sometimes even more than we believe in ourselves. She always encourages us to strive to do our best in anything we try. Because of the friendship, devotion, and love she has shown us, the Senior Class proudly dedicates the 1982 Sardonian to Jessie Tate. 18 Valedictorian Girls State, I Dare You, Good Citizen 19 Lisa Dobbins Salutatorian Good Citizen Susan Smith 21 Top Ten Percent Standing: Beverly Smith, tie for fifth; Renee Groover, tie for fifth; Tate Cooper, 7th; Kim Fox, 4th; Glenda Brand, tie for 2nd Sitting: Lisa Dobbins, 1st; Susan Smith, tie for 2nd; Debbie Turner, 9th, Bryan Centers,8th. 22 25 Officers Favorites Standing: Jeff Wiggins, V.
