But if you meet these challenges with the same determination as you met the challenges in high school, you will suc- ceed. I would like to express my appreciation to the Seniors for a successful year. Had it not been for your cooperation and leadership our success at Sardis High School this year would have not been possible. Graduating from High School will mark the end of one important period in your life and the beginning of another. You are now at a turning point. But all the lessons you have learned, skills you have acquired, capabilities you have devel- oped and friendships you have made are yours to keep, to cherish, and to carry with you throughout the years ahead. Until now you have depended upon your parents and teachers for help in making different decisions. You are beginning a period of greater growth, greater devel- opment, and greater happiness. Life will be a challenge for you and the rewards are for those who meet the chal- lenge successfully. When you receive your high school diploma, you will have accomplished one of the biggest chal- lenges in your life. MRS. LINDA SMITH. Secretary We, the Senior Class of 1975, dedicate the Sardonian to Mrs. Ellen Patterson. She has shown her love for the stu- dents by thinking only of the best, working for the best, and expecting only the best. She has done so much and at the same time helped us to turn our duties into privileges. She has earned the respect and love of everyone who has known her. She is a person of kind words, and she has always taken time to help a student in need. Because of her work and her dedication to her job. we are proud to dedicate the 1975 Sardonian to Mrs. Ellen Patterson. 4 Annual pfyhjj- cA [thsaqi We, the annual staff of 1975, would like to express our appre- ciation to our principal, Mr. Don Richey, the faculty, the stu- dent body, and all patrons of the school. Without your help and cooperation, the 1975 Sardonian would have never been com- pleted. We would like to extend a special thanks to Mrs. Caro- lyn Morton for her time, effort, and dedication to helping make the annual a success. 6 FACULTY . . . that gray color . . . -which nature loves; color of unpainted wood, weather-stain; time-stain; not glaring nor gaudy; the color of all roofs, the color of all things that endure . . .
