He was principal of the Saratoga Springs High School from July l, l9Al5 to August 7, l945. Before that, he was head of the Math Department from September l936 to June 30, 19-1.5. His wile, Mae, is from Bowling Green, Ken- tucky and was formerly a music and art teacher. Mr. Van XYie's special interests include bridge and 1JllOl0gl'll1Jllf'. He urges all the students to learn to do a good job in everything, whether it be scholastic or extracurricular and wishes all the students of Saratoga High to receive the maxixntun benefit from the years in high school.
