FRANCIS Ruiz Frank has been on the wrestling team, has been an invaluable member of the track team, was two years a member of BVC along with his hunt- ing, fishing, and square dancing. His ready smile has marked Francis a good sport and a swell team mate. MARGARET SABINA A member of GSC for four years, Sabrina has been active in all sports and went on playdays for most of them. Singing is one of her greatest pleasures, while her sense of humor was put to gocd use as Imogene in the Senior Play. CAROL ANN SCHWARTZ Swartzie likes Joe Colleges, New York City and driving. She has worked two years on both RECORDER and ORATOGA Business Staffs, been an enthusiastic member of Ski Club, worked on the Senior Play ticket committee and the refresh- ment committee for the Junior Ring Dance. CLARK B. SHAFER Shaf, a music natural, has belonged to orches- 15 'N K! tra, band, and Swing Chorus. He was assistant two years. ii .zs 9 editor of the RECORDER, member of BVC, Ski Club, Photo Club, and Honor Society. A member of the Charles Trio, he was also on the track team for ,z' nd ADA SHAYNE Tate's hobbies are dancing, hillbilly music and skating. She has played noon hour basketball and volleyball. She likes food, but don't offer her cheese or olives! Something might happen to her friendly smile if they were passed her way, ANGELINE SMITH Angie has ushered for plays and graduation, was on the publicity committee for Headed for Eden, has played basketball, and likes roller skat- ing and dancing. Angie is a sociable sort, but not with bow tie wearers!

Her home economics training has made her very helpful on food, decorate ing, and property committees. She has also belonged to Speech, Latin and Photo Clubs. GARRY RHODES Easy-going Speedy has been on the Varsity track team, wrestled for the Varsity, belonged to Photo Club and has worked on Stage Crew. Hunt- ing, fishing, and skiing keep him busy outdoors, and listening to good music amuses him indoors. MARILLA ROBINSON Perry Como, dancing and anything light blue are tops with Marilla. A vigorous person, she has gone out for tennis and bowling, was a drum maiorette for the high school and a twirler for the Cadet Corps. W ofllffjy 4T l'7 HARRY J. PITTS A four-year member of the Editorial Staff of ORATOGA, Pittsy was also home room representa tive for a year. An active committeeman for re laxation he played two years of home room basket ball. Outside of school he likes horses and horse back riding along with other sports in general VIRGINIA K. REEVES Dinny's duties have included editing the RE CORDER, being vice president of Cercle Francais Latin Club, and Honor Society. She also has belonged to Photo Club and Yorkers, and was I0 the Easter and Senior plays in '54, Being even-tempered has proved invaluable to Dinny. IU' vi

' . 1 15 Ruooi.PH SNYDER Buck is an all-round outdoor man with hunting and horseback riding his favorite pastimes. He has a yen for travel and good food. Buck's ready smile always makes him welcome. BETTY STAULTERS Bet was a chief typist for the ORATOGA, has gone out for noon hour basketball and was an usher for the Easter play of '54. She likes dancing, singing, watching wrestling and all kinds of food rt'-V DONALD STRAUS Don has served on the editorial staff of Ex. CLIFFORD STEVENS Cliff has been a Varsity wrestler, a member of all noon hour and home room sports teams, has been on many dance committees and was a play usher. When time allows, he likes to hunt, but don't give him any false smiles. PATRICIA STILES Pat is a stickler for sincerity, She served on the refreshment committee for this year's Hop, and was the food good! She has belonged to Latin Club, while music, dancing and reading good books are her hobbies. except fish, ORATOGA, has been a loyal sports supporter, and has been active on his home room basketball team, Most popular music is quite to his taste, and he should be an authority on hit tunes. R. STEvENs SWANNER Steve has been for four years a member of Stage Crew without receiving applause, but he has ap- peared' in three plays. He was a three-year track man and keeps in shape by his constant trips back and forth to Dan's Soda Bar. ff? X.-f
