CAROL COTE Carol became a member of Honor Society in her senior year. She showed her special talents in Headed for Eden and in chorus. She has been an active member of Ski Club and belonged to Photo Club. Carol really likes skating, swimming and food. ELLEN DELALLA Travel, camping and music are high on Ellen's list of favorites. A member of Honor Society, she has been in French Club, Photo Club, and in York- ers. Serving on Sophomore Solar Schuffle committee, and doing prompting for the Senior Play have all showed Ellen's capability. JOHN DELAY McGee may put on a solemn front, but he's a riot when you get to know him. John likes danc- ing, swimming and skating, was seen in Good News, and was on the JV football team. On Monday night, Salt rushes to Glens Falls to take the part of our Navy's No. l deck-swabber. COLUMBIA DESIGN Pumpkin was iunior class president, engineered the class ring committee, was on Student Council, the RECORDER Business Staff, and ORATOGA Ed- itorial staff. She still had time for sports, bowling, and committees. She'll be remembered for her pantomime of Darktown Strutters' Ball. GERTRUDE DEUEL Gert has for her first love books, good ones and plenty of them. She likes to study out motives and mistakes of the characters. Gert is a loyal member of her class with a satisfying sense of humor. GLORIA DORSEY Gloria, a diminutive artist, has been a member of Art Club, French Club, and Photo Club. She likes all kinds of sports, but ice skating and swimming rate highest. She has played noon hour basketball and volleyball. Her sincerity is always evident. 'nf

Rosen E. BURKE Burkey hates to get up in the morning, but once started, is unpredictable. He has played noon hour basketball, volleyball, and softball, and was an active member of the lunchroom gang of 203. He likes hunting, fishing, good movies and coun- try music, while quiet study halls disturb him. MARY BURNS Sports are a main interest with Scoops. A member of GSC, she has gone on many playdays and has been in noon hour and after-school sports. A three year member of chorus, Mary has been a graduation and Senior Play usher. Her talkative nature is a help as she scoops for Stewart's nightly. 1-.-0 -sr EDGAR CALLAHAN Affable Ed has been three years on the staff of the RECORDER, has been active on dance com- mittees for three years, and has shown dramatic talents in '53 and '54 Christmas Plays and in the Senior Play. Ed prefers pink shirts and blondes to pegged pants. RICHARD CASE Dick has centered his high school interests around noon hour and home room sports, taking part in football, basketball, softball, and volleyball. Being a member of the H203 Lunch Room Gang has given him a chance to express his ideas on hunting, fishing, and custom cars. le- fs iii MARTHA CLARK Always anxious to help, Marty has written for the ORATOGA for three years. She showed her Home Economics ability when she made drapes for the Senior Play and decorations for the '52 Easter Play. Marty, a girl worth knowing, likes tennis, roller skating and music. JOAN S. COCKRELL .loan is happiest when dancing or listening to good music. You can guess from her neat and carefully chosen clothes that she has good taste. She has lots of pep at noon hour volleyball.

MILLICENT DOYLE Mitzi has as her goal a career in psychosomatic medicine. She belonged to the RECORDER staff, the ORATOGA staff, Speech Club, and Photo Club. Al- ways in a hurry Mitzi likes tennis, bowling, and swimming, though traveling is one of her chief enioyments. DAVID DUMONT Bustling Dave has been on the RECORDER Bus- iness Staff, iunior home room representative and senior Student Council member. Many committee iobs were also sandwiched in. As a cop in the Senior Play, he was right in his element, GAIL DURGAN Sunny by nature, Windy had a peppy part in the Senior Play, Headed for Eden. She was a graduation usher, a member of the decoration com- mittee for the '54 Football Hop, and as a member of chorus, was one of Miss Mooney's gang. Hot rods are Windy's pet peeve. WAYNE Dvsowski Lanky Wayne, alias Killer, has played JV base- ball and JV and home room basketball. He could usually be found giving someone a barrage of sports facts and opinions. Killer likes to take it easy with lots of sleep and the Hilltoppers. ...v . -...A gui Ti, N .1 i .A WILLIAM EBERT Good-natured Will wears a perpetual grin. His long and loud laugh was put to good use in the horse races of the April Fool Carnival of '54, Will has done wrestling and has been in track, noon hour basketball and volleyball. CLYDE H. Eoov Kip is known for his musical talent. He sang in the All-State Chorus at Syracuse and was a mem- ber of Sectional All-State. A member of Art Club, he acted in many school plays. Noon hours saw him breezing in and out of the gym to keep up with sports. we
