•Hi, Marvin. What is keeping you in such good shape? “I'm a mechanic, and I sleep as much as 1 can. Say, have you seen Bill Cook yet? Just listen to him.” Get your tickets now. See Charmain the Charming Snake Charmer. Step right up. Oh hello, Kay, Phyllis. Come see the show. You might see Dave Kessler; he just bought a ticket. We step into a dimly lit tent, and, sure enough, there is a dignified, gray-haired gentleman, leaning over the rail fascinated by Charmain. •Well, well, David. Bill thought we would find you here. What have you been doing? •I'm a Wall Street broker, and I'm hungry. Let's have a hot dog. •All right. Look there's Delbert Cortner selling hot dogs and pickles .' •Hi, Delbert. Hello. Have a pickle? No thanks, but we will have a hot dog. •I'm doing very well. My wife is Elsie, the fat lady. My son Herbert is a sword-swallower, and George eats fire. •You almost have your own circus. Good luck. We decide to see the monkeys, so, we hurry to the cages and whom should we see but Don Wallace. He had changed considerably, and was wearing little glasses on the end of his nose and was getting bald. •How's business, Don? Wnat do you do now? Try to spend my money. Ever since I tried to plant a rosebush for Peggy and struck oil, I've had more money than I can spend. Lady Luck certainly smiled on you. Why here's Margaret. What are you doing now? Stanley and 1 just came back from Africa. Those lions and elephants over there were caught by me and trained by Stanley. I've heard of the 'Bring-em-back-alive-Bakers', but 1 didn't know it was you. Good luck. By this time, Kay and I decided we needed a dose of Alka-Seltzer. Delbert's hot dogs weren't agreeing with us. We headed for the Saratoga Drug Store, and inside we saw Tom Johnson serving a white bearded gentle- man who carried a cane. We sat down beside him and, Why, hello Mr. Huber. Tom, we haven't seen you for a long time. I've been a very lucky person, said Mr. Huber. I've just won the chess tournament. •I'm doing all right too, Tom spoke up, I'm a registered pharmacist now. We leave the drug store and go to Seerose's for dinner. Would you like a table? Why Kay and Phyllis, how are you? Just fine Don. My, you make a impressive head waiter. Thank you. Would you like a table by Joan Hoffman. She Just came in with Rock Ford. This way, please. Hello, Joan. I've seen some of your movies. I liked the last one with Mason James. Thank you. We're making a new one called 'Earthquake'. 1 nope it's a hit. We'll be sure to see it. After dinner and a short flight back to Cincinnati, Kay and I are very tired but happy to know that our friends did well.
