Sharek 75 The girls varsity volleyball team finished up its season with a league record of 6-6, yet our spirit was really high throughout the season. This was my first year on the team and it was a blast even though we didn't have a super season. All the members of the team were like family. Girls Field Hockey puts it to them. Even though the field Hockey teams didn't do as well as their original aspirations had hoped for, the girls felt it was a great season overall. The team had many indi- vidual efforts, including all-league awards. First place First place in the De Anza league was captured by the Saratoga girls tennis teams after finishing its sea- son undefeated with a very impres- sive 15-O season record. In the finals Saratoga dominated with all their finalists placing in the top three for all league. The finalists captured by girls' tennis all league were Lisa Wolff, Britton Patridge, Vicky Destin, Holli Rosen- berger, Mary Wray, Vicky Pochari, Cheryl Mallen, Karen MacKinnon, Sabrina Pena, Carla Vandermate, Cindy Tenleldam and Maggie Wright. Saratoga took first place in every division in the league. The girls tennis teams were under the supervision of coaches Marti Peetz, and Tina Kellogg.
