J.V. strong for coming year The 1977 J.V. Football team achieved success through hard work. The team finished with a 6-5 record, and four of their five losses were to championship teams. The team finished strong, winning six out of their last eight games. This year's team had the distinction of being the most intelligent J.V. team to date. The season began with a poor display of blocking and tackl- ing, but many players developed into good football players as the season progressed. Jack White was voted the cap- tain, Sean Ryan deservedly won the Most Inspirational Player award, and the talented Lindsay Megges was voted Most Valuable Player.
