The Falcons came out of the 1977-1978 football season with a lit- tle less then they hoped for. With a 5-5 record, dissapointment was pre- sent. The team seemed to have great potential, but it was plagued by many misfortunes. To name a few, injuries were present throughout the entire season. There was always someone standing on the sidelines in some sort of cast or brace. This season was truly a learning one. Ju- niors seemed to out number the seniors on the field, and two of the quarterbacks were playing Varsity ball for the first time. But with the inexperienced play- ers came the experienced. Vinnie Milazzo and Ernie Pacioni led the line 13 with outstanding strength. Bob Johnson, Steve Campbell, and Todd Sussenberger combined their talent to be responsible for most of the tackles. The Falcons expect to fly high next year, now that they've got ex- perience under their belts. They seem very confident and are looking forward to a fantastic season in 78.
