The week of Homecoming had many activities planned. The spirit was high as each class competed in each activ- ity. There were the rallies, in which each class had a chance to gain points in order to win the spirit trophy. The class with the most points at the end of the week received the trophy. There was a hat day, a reverse day, and a movie theme day. Cinderella was the movie for the Freshmen, King Kong was the movie for the Sophomores, the Juniors had Alice in Wonderland, and the Seniors followed the Yellow Brick Road with The Wizard of Oz. As the Homecoming half-time show proceeded, the important announcements were made. The Seniors won the trophy. Brian Prestwich received the honor of being King, Ann deBenedetti was selected Queen, Peggy Porter and Mary Ann Wall were voted Senior princesses, Mi- chelle Buchannan was chosen Junior princess, Carol lsh- erwood was voted Sophomore princess, and Kim Quarles was selected Freshman princess.
