Parcourse success in P.E. department This year, the Saratoga High School Physical Education Program has offered a new sport called the Par- course. It is an outdoor fitness sport that acts as a 'lcoach for people who are inexperienced' in pacing them- selves in an exercise regime. The objective of this sport is to maintain overall physical fitness and health. The Parcourse consists of a series of fitness stations Cwhere you perform specified exercisesj which are spaced along a jogging and walking path in the course area. There are signs posted to say whether to walk or jog to the next exercise area. This new program is a success in the Physical Education Department. Many students participate in the Par- course to improve their health and for the enjoyment of participating in an outdoor activity. On any weekday or weekend there are many students as well as neighborhood adults taking part in the Parcourse. Dan Wilson, P.E. Ray Goni, P.E. Penny Pierce, P.E. Susie Gordon, P.E. Marti Peetz, P.E.
