The Resource Center is a mini-library revolving around all the courses taught in the social studies dept. The students use it for research, to study and to check out books and periodicals. You are always welcome in the library. Here you can come to study, to work and to attain peace. You'II notice I didn't say peace and quiet. Talking in soft tones is now condoned, thus making for a pleasant, hasslefree atmosphere. Mrs. Dodge, the other library ladies, and I enjoy nothing more than to be able to look out and see a room full' of beautiful Saratoga High students at work. All of us are here to help you and when we offer to do so, we really mean it. If you haven't been to the library very often, you've missed much that is good at Saratoga High. The academic atmosphere, the warmth, and the eager assistance, offered as well as a readily available sympa- thetic listening ear, not easily found elsewhere, are in abundance here. As you go on to bigger and better things, be assured that we wish you happiness and all that's good in the years ahead. Avalon B. Master, Librarian I have worked in the attendance office now for two years and I enjoy it. I take extractions out to students who need to talk to the dean or Mrs. Ornellas. I file admits, notes and the yellow attendance cards. I've met a lot of people by working here. Diane Koci, Junior Right: Student assistants help in the office.
