l i l l l New league challenges volleyballteams Throughout the year we have eyed the trophy earned another year in another leaguep however, this is 1976 and we are pulling hard to gain a reputation in the De Anza league. All of our teams are learning good basics, teamwork, sportmanship and commitment through the strong coaching of steady Ms. Judy Ellis and two-year able assistant Ellen. To date our losses equal our wins but with each game we can see the gains. The freshman additions to volleyball are great-Hello Future! Tennis finishes season as winners The Saratoga girl's tennis team finished the season as winners. Coached by Miss Marty Peetz, the varsity team placed second in the league right behind Lyn- brook after beating them in the second round 5-2. The J.V. team grabbed the title for FIRST place, beating Lynbrook 5-O. They received the experienced coaching of Mrs. Tina Kellogg. The season ended on another fantastic note when Liz Kobara and Terry Rosato took second place in doubles in the league finals. For J.V., Maggie Wright and Susie Wong took second in doubles and Adelle Andersen and Kiki Herbst took first and second consecutively.
