We did it! We're CCS Champs! Our season was really unbelievable this year. No one thought we would win it all. But we did! We set our goals early, and went out and achieved them, with a 13-O record. We started out slow, with fundamentals and everything, and even the coaches were skeptical. As I walked around school the day of our first game, people kept asking, Are you guys gonna do it? Are you going to win? What else could I say but, Of course we-'re going to win! We have to, we're going to finish 13-O! All season long we pulled together and played as one unit, instead of 11 individuals. I think the success of the team was the result of togetherness of the players and the coaches. And we did it! 13-O- CCS Champs! -Steve Worman When you think back upon all the wins we hadg of our tremendous success, the first that pops into your mind is WHY? Why did we win? We didn't have as much talent as Saratoga did in '73'. Sure we had a few standouts, but not enough to compare with the line of the '73' team. Well then, except for fantastic coaching, I really think the 'why' could be answered in one word, LOVE. We were like one big family with Coach Pierce as our father. It was just a pleasure to be part of such love and friendships. -Ernie Pacioni
