I feel that because of this, it is one of the most im- portant subjects there is. It gives me an opportunity to express my- self creatively. Whenever I write, I'm writing for myself exclusively, if another person can relate to the feelings, emotions, or ideas I'm try- ing to communicate them all the better. There are no fixed rules to how one should interpret someone else's work. This is why English is some- thing you 'experience' rather than just learn. -Phillip Bailey
