S ' 't This school needs more enthusi- asm and more of an interest in the activities and their fellow students. -Lauren Morley I wish more people would get in- volved in the clubs. It's sad to see that the clubs which were so popular a while ago are dying out because of the lack of interest, -Jenny Quita I think the students should have more school spirit at sport games. Not at just football games but at all kinds of sports. -Lori Allderdile I am new to the school and so far I am disappointed that each separate class seems disunitedf' wLisa Allder- dile 'LSpirit as we know it at Saratoga High School is a total anachronism. Spirit is not rooting at a football game, running for porn pon girl or cheerleader. What Saratoga High is offering its students in terms of spirit are cheerleaders and football games. How can we possibly expect all stu- dents to identify with such a thing. A football game can provide few stu- dents with a 'raison d'e'tre.' There ought to be a sense of be- longing to the school, a sense of involve- ment on many different levels. The changing values of today's youth are finding no identification with Sara- toga's traditional concepts of spirit. As members of this school we might find it very worth our while to seriously begin considering some altemativiesf' -Mr. Jay Bourgerie LEFT: Cindy Nelson and Caroline Haskell seem to be interested in some- thing other than the rally.
