Football Football Squads Prove Successful In viewing the 1975 varsity football season, one would have to feel that he was watching a remake of last year's season with only the names changed. Under the highly competent leadership of coach Benny Pierce, the Falcons coasted through the first half of the season with a 7-0 rec- ord. That set the stage for the big game against Los Gatos. In a battle reminiscent of the heartbreaker against Branharn, --P a Q g ly! W1-wh, the Falcons dropped a 30-6 verdict to the also unbeaten Wildcats, to end their title hopes maintaining their poise however, the varsity gridders vented their revenge on Campbell and Blackford to finish a 9-1 season. The big key to this figure was the Falcons superior run- ning game. Steve Ernst and Steve Smith were fairly de- pendable to come up with a hundred-plus yards.
