Football Banquet Football Players are Rewarded at Banquet For the first time football players were rewarded at a football banquet. Frosh, JV, and varsity players and coaches alike attended the banquet. All enjoyed them- selves immensely. Of the four helpers the varsity team had from San Jose State, two, Mr. Doug Allen and Mr. Larry Kerr, attended the banquet. Dale Rogers, also of San Jose State, was guest speaker that night. Coach Benny Pierce made a few comments through- out the presentation of awards, about the football season. If you don't have the ad- ministration behind you, you don't get very far.', It's not if you're a good winner- it's how you come back after a defeat. In my mind, they were champs this year.'l Changing leagues- It's for the best.
