Bands arching Band Wins Again and Again 'Presenting the 190 piece Sara- toga High School Marching Band un- der the direction of Craig Northrup with drum majors Steve Belomy and Regan Davis! ' The band filled the field of the Oakland Coliseum on No- vember 16, 1976, featured at the Oakland Raiders - Cleveland Browns game. Unfortunately, though hoped, the half-time show wasn't televised. Another big moment for the band was at the Los Gatos Parade. They won the highest award in band com- petition, the Sweepstakes trophy. Junior Jan Van Over said, tPeople were very disappointed when they announced first place to another band. But, it was exciting because we never expected to winl' Senior William Hilton summed it up by saying, 'We won!
