Sadie Hawkins Dance Freshmen Class Sponsors the pring Sadie At 8 pm on a misty March evening, when you find yourself between some hillbillies and two tomatoes, you begin to think you're on a farm, but when you see the fairy, elf, and play- boy bunny you really start wonder- ing. It isnit until you are reassured ff .YH If X V you are on only in the Saratoga High boy's gym for a Sadie Hawkin's dance that you are able to swallow and realize you're going to be all right. The gathering, sponsored by the freshmen class turned out to be a big t x fi .ra success. The band- Antiquity -al- though unheard of played medicore music. I went a whole school year here in Saratoga and l'd like to say that to me Saratoga High School seems like a really modern school with good possibilities for effective studying. For example the really well equiped ce- ramics work room is just something I've never seen in any other high school in Finland or here in California. I would also like to thank all those people, who go to this school as a teacher or as a stu- dent for giving me such an interesting school year. I can really say that I have had a good time during my stay because I've known and experimented many new and different things and I have also had some opportunities to visit interesting places, expecially in south- ern California.
