Seniors I really enjoy the tranquility and setting of this school. It's nestled somewhat in the hills fnot really far enoughb but in a general sense A mellow school . The people here are some of the most friendly and fun to be-around-people there are. And if you really look at your high school days they're prob- ably the most fun you'll ever have. Why look at it! It's go to school, and then go skiing, parties, music, and whatever people do in their spare time. It's just really a time of relaxa- tion before you go out into the BIG WORLD. Seniors This was a year of change for Sara- toga High School. Many of our stand- ard, traditional activities remained only as memories. Instead, new, more vital and hopefully more exciting activities were introduced. The Vari- ety Show was dropped in order to make room for a lavish fall musical. Guy's and Dolls was a sheer suc- cess, and another production is in the works for next fall. The traditional homecoming was revised to allow only a senior to be queen and a princess was chosen from each class. Halloween and Christmas were both celebrated at SHS. During Hal- loween each class had one day of the week to put on an activity during lunch. The freshmen got their head wet, while bobbing for apples, the sophs all needed a bath after pump- kin eating contest, the juniors bobbed for apples, and the seniors got the whole school involved by having a costume contest. The Christmas dance this year was bigger and better than ever. Held in the cafeteria, the event was a fun evening for all who attended. Saratoga's elderly had a chance to visit the campus on Senior Citizens Day. They all had a great time and asked when they could come back again.
