A new year • • . A new principal As we go through life, we should all be striving to climb toward some goal. In the past four years, you, the Seniors of 1966, have been striving toward the goal of graduation. In working toward this goal, you have accumulated many important things— knowledge, friends, self-discipline, skills, and habits— all mingled to provide a firm foundation at the foot of your stairs. May you use this accumulation of your past years to continue to climb the stairway of life to even larger, more important goals. Look back, if you like, but keep forever moving step by step toward what you want most to be. Sincerely, Alvin Narron, Jr. Our new principal finds that there is much work to be done before the busy day begins. Mr. Narron arrives at school bright and early each morning with a cheerful smile.

student Council • • President of Student Council, Mac Owens. A successful school is largely de- pendent on the students ' abilities to govern themselves. It is for this pur- pose that the Saratoga Central Stu- dent Council is now on active duty. The Student Council consists of rep- resentatives from all the classes and organizations that work together with the officers and sponsor for the benefit of all the students and faculty. They do their best to fulfill the desires of all and strive for a better relation- ship between the school and students. Money-raising projects consist of various activities for the school. The money is spent in a way which will benefit both the students and faculty.
