It separates those among whom the bond of friendship has grown stronger with the passing of years; yet we know that changes are essential to progress. We feel that this institution, which has played so large a role in shaping our lives, is taking a momentous step in the direction of prog- ress, and we would not ask that it be otherwise. However, when the name Saratoga School is mentioned, it will bear the connotation of those who have been its essence for so many years- -for so many of us.

What a note of nostalgia will ring to us as we remember the per- sonality and instruction of the one from whom these remarks issued. Because of his loyalty, sincerity, great patience — yes, and even his severity with us throughout the last five years, this Senior Class of 1958-1959 dedicate the tenth edition of theSanoca to a much loved faculty member, Mr. Loy Rogers.
