Rear Admiral George N. Gee, U.S. Navy, a native of Lakewood, Ohio, entered Officer Candidate School after graduating from the University of Notre Upon commissioning he in i962 as Combat information Officer aboard the USS CLSD 351. His second was aboard USS PURSE KDD 8823 as Navigator, thereafter attending Naval Destroyer School in Newport, Rhode Island followed by duty as Engineering Officer, USS SAMUEL B.
