Three acres at the rear of the high school buildings are planted in corn and English peas. H. B. Philpott, Donald Brownell. Under the capable direction of Douglas Scarbro, the dramatic club had a success- ful season. It presented three types of plays: a comedy with a patriotic theme. American Passport 3 a farce, Hlntroducin' Susan 3 and a mystery play, The Inner Circle. A one act play, Another Beginning won a B+ rating in the district meet. Billy Tharp, Jane Northen, and Maribel Meriwether were the cast The club members have also contributed active support and technical work to other groups in school and especially the junior class.
