We had spent long days at sea, and had made land- ings on foreign shores. We had returned from a tough assignment with the satisfaction of a j0b well done. We have seen in practice that which we had learned in camp, that we are part of a team which includes both the Navy and the Marine Corps -each with its own job to do, both ready now more than ever to work as partners together in further amphibious operations.
