In school, through the bookv you read, you became actjuainted with nianv peojile in other lands: vou knew what the ate. how thev drevsed. what the did and how they livid. Later, when iiu joined the publii librar ou discovered that inanv books were written on every subjec t man was interested in. Books on travel, science, art. jjoetrv. romance, fiction, drama, religion, on the history of every country, on transportation and occupations, fill the shelves from the floor to the ceiling of many libraries in rnanv lands. Great ple.isnre. inlorniatinn. inspiration and guidance are lound in these book--. They hel]) to mold the li -es of the peojjfe.
