These girls are taught the vari- ous phases of making up a newspapei. Incidentally, they preview new movies and interview celebrities of stage and screen. S.S.G.O. COLXCIL Mrs. Pearl Binnctt Faculty Adviser The members of the S.S.G.O. C ' .ounc il are discussing with Mrs. Pearl Bennett, Faculty . dviser, in the S.S.G.O. Office, numerous problems concerning the cafe- teria. This Council, a conmiittee of fifteen girls, includes the president, vice-presi- dent, and secretary- of the Student Self- Government Organization, and the rep- resentatives. They supervise the Iuik h room and the traffic in the halls. - HONOR SOCIETY Mrs. Madeline Bengcrt Faculty Adviser The most solemn moment of the Honor Society Installation is the lighting of the candles: this phase of the ceremony SNTiibolizes the sacred pledge to maintain highest standards of scholarship, character, and ser%-ice. Membership in this society is the highest club honor that our school can bestow upon a girl.
